We have seen what poor consumables cost a facility. Nurses lose hours. Patients lose trust. The facility loses its good name and a name takes years to rebuild. So we check before we buy and we check again before we sell. That is our standard. It applies to every product we carry, including our own.

Are you a manufacturer or exporter?
We want to hear from you if you make or export consumables such as underpads, catheters, urine bags, IV cannulas, giving sets, nebulizer masks, feeding tubes, gloves, dressings or syringes.
Here is how it works. Send us your catalogue and specification sheets. We pick the lines that fit our buyers. You send samples. We test them with real users in Nairobi and give you honest feedback. If the product passes and the paperwork is in order, we agree pricing, lead times and a first order. From there you get a named contact at Sternmed and a clear reorder cycle.
Some products in Kenya must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board before they can be sold. If your product falls in that group, we will ask for the registration or we will work with you on it. We do not sell what we cannot prove.
Are you a pharmacy, distributor or clinic buying on account?
Trade buyers get trade rates. The first order is paid in cash or by M Pesa on delivery. That lets both sides see how the other works. After that we can agree credit terms that suit your cash flow.
We work with pro forma invoices and local purchase orders. Send us your LPO or your list with item, size, pack and quantity. We send a pro forma the same day with delivery and VAT shown clearly. Once you approve it, we deliver. For regular buyers we keep a standing order so stock never runs out in the ward.
Prices are quoted per order and per pack size. The more you buy, the better the rate. Ask us for a quote on your usual monthly list and compare it line by line with what you pay today.
Do you want to resell Sternmed branded underpads?
Yes, you can. Our Sternmed Premium Medical Underpads are in stock in Nairobi right now. A packet of 10 is KSh 800 and a bale of 100 pads is KSh 8,000. The size and count are printed on every packet, so your customers know what they are getting.
Many resellers start with one bale, sell on WhatsApp or in their shop and reorder every week or two. There is no joining fee and no contract. Our other lines land on 27 November 2026 and resellers who are already with us hear first.

How long does it take to become a Sternmed supplier?
Samples and paperwork usually take two to four weeks to review. If the product passes, a first order can follow straight away.
Can a clinic buy on credit from the first order?
No. The first order is paid on delivery. Credit terms are agreed after that and depend on your order size and payment record.
Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes. We deliver across Kenya using couriers and transporters we trust. Delivery cost is shown on the pro forma before you confirm. We also export to buyers in other African countries.
Is there a minimum order for trade buyers?
For underpads, one bale of 100 pads. For other lines, one box or carton once they land on 27 November 2026. Larger orders get better rates and we will tell you where the price breaks are.
Who will I be dealing with?
